Any Hawthorne Heights fans?

i like the underground stuff man too, when a band starts to get popular, like hawthorne heights, i don't listen to them that much because i like it when people say, "what band is that your listening too"
 
exactly. like when With Hearts of Heroes first started, I was like there biggest fan. Now, they are so popular and it's just like what the fuck. I liked them before they were ever popular.
 
YOU SHOULD RENAME THE TITLE OF THIS THREAD " ARE THERE ANY EMO's ON NS" and that will get you everyone you want. unless they are off cutting.

I had the worst luck and didn't know who they were until the warped tour. But thank god now I know that I'll never listen to them again. Extremely extremely worthless piece of shit band.
 
yeah i want to know what the fuck inside you people makes you dress like a douche bag and listen to such horrible music, im pretty sure its because you hate yourself, but beyond that i really cant understand why you would subject yourself to such douchebaggery, take off your tight pants and lose the makeup and weird hair that makes you only see out of one eye, i mean come on you dont even have depth perception when you use one eye, you must overshoot jumps all the time cause your stupid hair-do requires you to have one eye covered, so basically what i have to say is fuck emo kids
 
Just because you like that music, doesn't mean you dress/act emo neccessarily. I like some emo music, like Hawthorne Heights, but I like lots of other types of music, like alternative, hip hop, classic rock, etc. I'm still a happy person though, and where normal clothes and have a normal haircut and no plans of slitting my wrists. And as for those who are "emo" who cares? let them do what they want, at least they aren't pretending to be ghetto thug black kids like many suburban middle-upper class kids I know. To each their own I guess.
 
hahaha my friend was trying to tell me how hawthorne heights is better than the beatles. he was like "it takes so much skill to scream like that" it was funny.

seriously you cant even think about them being better than the beatles, like it just isnt possible for anyone to be better. its pretty much a fact.
 
hawthorne heights is pretty awful, and their street-teaming techniques are worse than major labels'. also, they bank primely off the demographic of entry-level teen rock dilettantes like the girl in this thread who keeps saying underground underground underground (whether or not she likes the band is irrelevant to the point).
 
you guys have to work on your stage presence a lot. that video was hella boring. i hope your warp tour show is gonna be more active then that vid

and whoever said as i lay dying was metal. you are wrong! they're not metal. they are metalcore/hardcore.
 
I wouldn't say it's 'better' than acting like thugs etc, etc.. I think it's the same. But I liked you post.

ya thanks for the advice. That vidoe is like a year old when we have only been playing for about a year. We are much better live now. We play a lot of local shows here and we are starting to get recognized.
 
you also dont have a mime looking icon and talk about how your sreamo inspired band is better than everyone else. of course people listen to a variety of music and that it doesnt have to dominate there personality, thats common sense. but when one indicates that emo music dominates many aspects of their lives, that designates them as and emo type person, and many people believe thats grounds enough for being ridiculed. im not saying that its right or wrong to base your style around music im just saying your point was useless. thanks for playing.
 
most of the music i listen to is emo based, like post hardcore, shit like that, but im not any where NEAR emo, im just a regular person who likes a type of music.. and yes i do make fun of emo kids... what i dont udnerstand though is why we dont make fun of thugs who wear XXXXL shirts that are way to big for them and it looks like night gowns.

as someone who plays instruments and is a fan of post punk/indie/hardcore they suck at life, they're singer is tone deaf
 
On the contrary, my point wasn't useless at all. If you read what people of said, it seems that a lot of people associate listening to emo music as only for people who embrace the "emo" culture. I'm just making the point that this isn't the case. You are just re-stating the obvious, and my point, as well. Would that make your point useless then? perhaps.
