I went from Tecnica Diablos, then to Ace oF Spades, then Full Tilt Dropkicks, and now I am in a Tecnica Cochise 120.
The biggest issuse I had with 3 piece boots was that I never felt like my heel was being grabbed enough, even with down sizing, adding padding, and custom footbeds.
I also didn't like the neutral stance, even when shimmed with the biggest piece Full Tilt includes, I could feel how much more backseat I wanted to ski with the 3 piece boot.
The only thing I really miss about my tilts is how warm the Intuition liner was.
Over all I am very glad to be back into a more traditional shell, I don't think I would go to a Demon or Dobbermon shell, but the Cochise is just hybrid enough for my liking. Plus the power strap is freaking bomber.
With all of this being said I'm not that much of a park skier, I mostly do Sidecountry, light BC, glade skiing, and Thursday night Beer League. I do drop cliffs, mostly around 20ft, and hit park booters, but I'm not spending as much time on rails as I did in my youth.
Hope that helps
