NO HATING! This is a fun comp.

I'm planing the setup as I type

Very early plans are like this:

Down/Flat/Down

40' Flat Down (20x20)

20' T-Box

16' Box

Wall ride below the entire setup

These are only initial plans, nothing final yet. Depends on when and if we finish building a couple rails.

Rail jam is SATURDAY the 29th. Sorry, I didn't even see he had a typo there.

Yes, definitely Saturday.

I'm not sure about the sponsors this year, but past years, there's been some companies that showed up and supported the winners. Plus, it's a turkey AND homemade jam....haha.

I know ninthward was interested, but not sure if they got in contact with anyone or not...

Turkey Jam

The Annual Turkey Jam at Cascade. Last year was crazy; we had over 80 competitors show up for the first rail jam of our season. Same format, jam style with features we have ready, depending on snow conditions. Prizes of course include frozen turkeys and homemade jam. Come on out and get down with your funky self. This event will either be held on the Bunny slope or near the Daisy in the new Rail Yard park. Registration fees will be $1.00 AND a few non-perishable food items to be donated to a local food pantry. Lift tickets are required. Helmets are required. Starts at High Noon, registration starts at 11am. (12:00pm on Saturday, November 29, 2008).

there was only 19 ppl in the hole comp witch was nice becuz last year there were 90 and it took like 6 years to hit a rail so we had a plast maybe 20 more ppl would hav been nicer but it all went down perfect lol there were about 9 skiers and about 11 snowboarders

Badger state at Cade end of jan. Wasn't run very well last year. Had a slopestyle, rail jam, and quarterpipe. not sure what will be offered this year...

Hey one of my friends told me that there's a comp on jan. 3rd at sunburst slopestyle but idk if it's just snowboard or what so if someone could clarify that would be great

i dont know about the upcoming one but i went to like 2 last year and they were both a joke. yea, skiers were allowed but it was definately a snowboarding oriented event. i guess they were kinda fun tho.
