Any Entertainment Arts and Engineering majors here?

I'm going to school at U of Utah, and was looking at majors they have good programs for. This one peaked my interest. Is anyone here in that program? They have two specializations in the major; Computer Science w/EAE emphasis, which focuses more on learning to code and taking more computer science classes, along with Film and Media Arts w/EAE emphasis, which has more to do with animation/visial effects, storytelling. The latter sounds more interesting, but I wonder if that will push me onto the path of another jobless college graduate, even though the work itself sounds more exciting.

TL;DR: Anyone in the UofU EAE major?

look up quaternions and see what you think

Are you in the program? Obviously its a little hard to grasp but if a major isn't had what's the point?

Main reason I'm thinking about this is I'd like to work in the film industry, but I don't know a ton about filmmaking and The U's program isn't great. I'd like to work is some sort of creative field, thought a lot about industrial design but I'm not very good at drawing.

Also considering journalism but there really aren't any jobs.

It depends how hard you're willing to work. I'm in engineering at a different school, and the work is miserably boring. But I'm set as soon as I graduate. Trust me, I'd much rather be studying more interesting stuff.

Almost nobody is in engineering because they love the material.
