Any Drummers on NS

kinda miss my kid, sold it for my vibes ticket and some dose last year hahah. but i still shred on the hand drums like it's my job.
 
I played percussion from 4th grade until I graduated high school. I never practiced though so I always got stuck playing the bass drum and cymbals. But damn did I put my heart and soul into those instruments.
 
I'm currently saving up for a Ludwig kit with a 26 bass drum. Going to be loud when I play gigs. Only Question is Gold or Champagne sparkle?
 
Ive been playing my whole life. Was always in me. didnt have a kit at my house until maybe 9 years ago though. Ive got a growing collection though including a few djembes, one of which is the most prized possession i own.

Having a rough time though, unable to play, it's fucking shitty. I'm gonna give the kit a try tomorrow. Trying to play my djembe made me want to cry.
 
Yup. I'm on the University of Washington drumline. I'm also going out for a snare spot with the cascades drum corps this summer. Final round of auditions is this weekend, I hope I dont get cut.

I play set too... I mostly just play along to tower of power songs when I have an hour to kill hahah. I'd get more serious about it if I had a group to play with.

Pencil drumming ftw, i just got new sticks for christmas. Ive been drumming for like 4 years though, on a shitty-as-shit yamaha electric kit. fuck i hate it haha

I have a 4pc Mapex Saturn Studio in Sterling Silver. New Beat High Hats (14), A Custom Projection Crash (16), A Custom Crash (18), K Custom Dark Ride (21). All DW hardware.
 
What's everyone's set up? Currently I have a gretsch Kit 22 kick, 12 rack 14 floor 16 floor, but I've almost got enough money for my dream kit. Ludwig Classic Maple 26 x14, 13x9, 16x16 and 18x18, along with paiste giant beats 15 hats 20 crash 18 crash and my personal favourite the 24 ride.

nah i need some new one evtually. I have a 14 zildjian crash that split bad almost completely off it sort of does a u and doesnt come within 4 inches or so of the bell. I stll thrash on it though.

Sucks that I'm back in ny but I can't play for at least a month. I might go down and jam with the peoples and try to get some one handed beats goin
