Any Boxers? (fighters not underwear)

there the people that think they can go in the ring and knock someone out just as they watch rocky do it or somthing. You have the experience wyatt, its pretty fricken hard to hit a top ranked fighter..

how was parkour class by the way, everyones wondering why you werent at the gym, brad was like freaking out, oh and next time i spar you, you wont be able to hit me as much fuckkerr

In the featherweight class?

Also, the fact you didn't specify boxing makes them all that much more likely to lose. I would just make it a no holds barred cage match, thumbtacks, chairs, tables. THE WHOLE SHEBANG.

Then I would come out as THE GREEN BASTARD! This is my strategy for winning.

Oh, don't think I'm defending you or anything. I'm laughing at everyone in this thread. I just felt compelled to comment on how much of a troll he looks like.

Jesus, people are being dicks in this thread. Weight doesn't matter, that is why there are weight classes, and the kid is 14, give him a break. Paquiao is only 145 pounds or something.
I boxed as a junior and senior in high school. Didn't really like it because I don't like hitting people hard or getting hit. But, I was good at it so I did it to get an "academic" scholarship and quit right away in college. Keep on keeping on if you like it, but watch out for blunt trauma, more and more studies are showing that it is super bad for you and causes shit like depression and I think possibly bad spaeling.

well i have been learning a different style of fighting that we call peek-a-boo where i keep my hands glued to my face, absorb the punches then right after i take the punches i throw a bunch right back

its working pretty well so far

lets try to get this thread to where it was supposed to go, if you have never fought before because you dont know shit about the sport so get the fuck out, unless your interested or being positive

Well, of course any technique with practice will help you get hit less, but the fact remains that the goal of boxing is to hit the other person, really fucking hard. I don't care what style you use you are gonna get a few whacks to the dome.
You are still young so you guys can't hit as hard, but the thing about boxing is the longer you keep going the harder the other guy can hit. Once you get to college it fucking sucks balls. In my brief time as a boxer as a freshman, I always sparred with this senior kid who fucking tossed my shit every time we sparred and he weighed less than me, and I never lost a single fight in high school either.

its more of a defensive technique though so i am more focused on not getting hit

but yeh i have noticed that my friends who fight have been hitting harder and harder and harder, it does suck balls

to this kids defense he is only 14 or whatever the fuck he said (i stopped reading your banter) and fighting is a progression through experience. I just started training with a local MMA gym in my area and it's a fucking pain in the ass to get going (i'm 22 so i got a late start) but if I keep at it it'll be 2 or 3 years until i catch up with the 18 year olds that train there that have been fighting since they were 16.

yeh ive been down at the gym for around 2 years and the kids i spar with have been around for more than a year than i have, my friend logan aka logey at the top has been boxing for ever, and his whole family was boxing at some time, late starts suck ass

you been boxing since you were 12 im not reading the 3 pages but you cant do that you have to be 18 in most states and 16 in a few.

umm then how have i had four fights? i dont know how i have fought kids from wisconsin, the iowas and minnesota then when i am still under 16 and have a fight on the 27 and a tournament on the 3rd and 4th

sorry for the triple post you flail around like a little girl it really look liked you had your eyes closed while fighting the whole time. go back to training you have a lot of work to do.

like ive said multiple times, over a year ago, now im going to the gym to train for my fight so continue talking about fighting if you please

well ok i fight and im am 100% sure i can beat your ass lets make a date and go at it......you know with the fighting.

actually you are completly wrong, in amature boxing you have to be 8 years old to start, 10 to fight in a national tournament. You might be mixed up with a tournament. The USA boxing tournament you have to be 16 to compete in and you have to be 18 to compete in the olympics
