wear a helmet.make sure that you have urban style rails that are in the park dialed IN.don't hit a rail if it's sketchy.have an escape plan. wear some elbow pads if it's your first time hitting urban. be smart.
i had a few pretty good falls on my first urban but just find a nice safe rail (which doesn't really exist) and go with somebody that's hit urban before to help you out.
come on to the rail with a slight angle, and make sure you dont jump on to close next to the rail. other than that get a nice pop, get ur feet locked on top, and ride away.
Do you guys build you kickers at the rail? or take a frame to throw snow on. I don't know how to get a kicker built fast enough without attracting too much attention..
Make sure you know hownot to fuck up on rials that aresimilar to what you are gonna hit beforeyou actually go out and risk getting injured, arrested and eventually getting the rail knobbed.
Park rails are just as fun as urban and there is no point in hitting urban rails unless they are way different then what you've got in your mountain park or that you are filming or shooting with a decent company.
ummm..okay yeah. You should not hit an urban rail at all. I'm saying this only because it is EXTREMELY unsafe to hit urban. Doing it without any practice is straight up foolish.
