Any advice for this setup?

We've been working on a setup the past few months and while it works and 9 times out of 10 is fast enough to get on to our rail or box, the speed is so slow that I often find myself coming to a dead stop once I start to slide.

We have tried pvc rollers on the drop in, construction fence on the tranny, and of course lots of soap, water, and even tire shine. I was just wondering what advice you guys might have to make our setup a little bit better.

Your easiest option would be to lower the height of the jump and the rails. I'm guessing your losing your speed on the jump. Judging by the picture i'm assuming building it taller isn't an option, so that aside, build the jump and rails lower and you should be good. Plus, with a lower rail it's easier to learn tricks, which is the point of of a summer jib anyways.

Thanks a bunch. It's funny to think of it that way because we originally planned for the rails to be high because we thought it would make spinning off them easier. Turns out its the opposite. Can't spin off them because we have no speed at the end. I'm thinking I will experiment with a lower jump and rail since I have seen kids spin fine off of rails much lower than ours. Try putting Cylinder blocks under the ramp to lift the drop in. And Buid a new triangle for the bottom meets the ground, or just build it up with snow. Orrr Could build s box frame and put your drop in on that. But the cylinder blocks made a huge diff for me.
