So Anywho, im looking at the picture of Antoine Gagnier on the entrance to the newschoolers site. Normally I look at one foot slides and Im not very impressed; they rarley look stylish as the rider looks like hes trying to fly kick some imaginary child infront of them. Furthermore the arms are usually imitating the wingspan of a Boeing 747- looks shit. Shit like that doesnt do much for the sport of skiing.

BUT (yes theres always a but kiddies), in the photo of Antoine, theres no Bruce Lee fly kicking shenannigans, theres no silly arms and he actually looks as if he might have that gorilla stance you kids are so fond of nowadays. AND he mute grabs (mute grabs are better than the Olsen twins naked).

So this leaves me in a bit a pickle. If this one foot slide doesnt look like some sort of skiing abortion, then it must mean that one foot slides are part of a good progression in skiing. Which means there may be a change in the way we slide rails.

You decide kids, let me know your thoughts.

Yeah youre probably right. Id have sex with the olsen twins while grabbing high mute...thatd be real progression.

imagine someone popping a really styled urban lip-nosepress or soemthiong

or a 270 on nose

unless that stuff has already been done and im living in the past

either way u dont see much of that stuff

well before this there were only 4 kinds of rail slides and i think this slide is THE SHIT! next season this is going to be the first things i try on a rail when i get comfortable. it only gets better from here....... and i think grabs on rails are sick. it's the only way you can change things up on a rail for now. it's progression.
 
The Olsen twins naked is definitely better than a mute grab.

But the Olsen twins naked doing truck drivers, both of them... Now that is progression.
 
it took you that long to realize that with practice a trick can become stylie? the first grinds on skis were the ugliest thing ever. now they are steezy. give any trick (other than big spins and flips) a few years and itll be good looking. 1 foots will be gorilla
