Ben made that post weeks before the debate and even allowed that there was plenty of time left for movement...when he said what he said, he was absolutely right, Obama was commandingly ahead.

And my point still stands because nationwide polls mean nothing. The popular vote is irrelevant in our elections, what matters is electoral votes, which when I last looked (a few days ago mind you) Obama still had a healthy lead in. I have seen that Romney is drawing closer in Ohio.

Of the battleground states, Obama only needs 53 electoral votes to win. Romney needs 89.
