I have been listening to Saosin for quite a while,(before Cove Reber took over for Anthony Green) and then picked up Circa Survive. I heard Green has his own album out now. Have any of you heard it/have it? Is it good stuff? How can I get it without buying it. Also, if you like Anthony Green, listen to him in The Sounds of Animals Fighting, i think their first album..Crazy.

TSOAF are one of my favs. anthony green's album avalon is not like circa survive or def not like TSOAF. i never really listen to it.

so not worth it?

I've heard his song "Dear Child ( I've been trying to reach you) and thought it was pretty sick, but I'm not sure how the accoustic would be. Also, Act 1: Chasing Suns by TSOAF is sickk.

I like anthony's solo album, but nothing beats his old saosin stuff. I will always get pumped up by seven years.
I other news, Dallas Green (alexisonfire), also a sick solo acoustic album.

Yeah Avalon's a pretty big disappointment. Anthony just rereleased his stuff from High and Driving and some other demos he had written while with Saosin. Nothing will ever match the Translating the Name EP with Saosin, those 5 songs are just unmatched.

Try the High and Driving EP, those are good acoustic, and they'll be the originals before he put them on Avalon

i think its great i like it a lot
www.playlist.com has every song on it listen to she loves me so first
i love trying to sing with him its so high

I love his solo work...along with everyother band he is in.

i know you can get some of his songs off of limewire and what not but my friend has his solo cd and we were listening to it...its pretty good. I enjoyed it. Ive been dying to reach you has been one of my fav songs for a long time now too.

I agree, Translating the Name was incredible. I used to listen to that hours on end when it came out, most overplayed 5 songs of my life. "to install the notion of I divided by I" so ill. Has anyone heard the Cove Reber accoustic covers of the original TTN songs? They aren't bad, his rendition of 7 years is pretty good. Also, just watched vids of Green doing both Miracle Sun and Dear Child..real cool.

Have any of you heard handshakes at sunrise, by circa survive? It was a song they had on their website before juturna came out. my favorite circa song by far.
