Anthems or Invaders..

I'm trying to decide my new ski for next season whether its going to be an invader or an anthem, I ski park but i'm a ski instructor so I shred groomers with ski instuctor buddys aswell and im an east coast boy. im just undecided for 83 under waist or 93 under waist. :S
 
I have invaders and they are great on the goomers and in the park as well as super cheap. But i would say if you have the money go for the anthems the extra width is always better. it also depends on what you do in the park if its mostly rails go invaders if your hitting the bigger jumps and still do rails go for the anthems.
 
invaders are much better for rails so if u shred rails a lot they're a great choice

but as far as juumps and groomers go, anthems are more stable
 
considering your a ski instructer id say go anthems, there more versitile. Only unless you are doing tons of switchups and spins on urban rails thats the only case i think invaders would be better for you. volkl walls also have great versitility, another option
 
afterbangs, lighter then anthems, stiffer then invaders, butter zone is moved back so butters are better then both, and they are cheaper then anthems
 
Afterbangs are the hands down ugliest ski i've seen ever, and they won't be out until next season, I wanted to pick my skis up cheaper in the summer then head to whistler for a week in the summer
 
dude who cares about graphics, and as anyone who has ridden them can tell you, they ae way more fun then both anthems and invaders, and they are only gonna be $360 US
 
Anthems are 232$US, and I happen to care about graphics it doesn't make or break a decision and I woudln't buy a ski just for looks but the graphics are there for a reason.
 
i agree, imo part of liking your skis is lookin down at them and feelin good while your riding them, otherwise you dont get the whole package - a ski that feels good while while riding it and keeps u pumped everyday u spend staring at them in the corner of your room in the summer
 
Well im buying the 08/09 models of eather Anthems or Invaders and im having a hard time making up my mind, I rarely see pow but I think the 93 underwaist might be good for carving aswell as stomping landings
 
go anthems for sure, soo happy i did, and graphic is dope, very soft, but still stable, great bombin groomers, and surprisingly amazing in woods, pow can be a bit annoying if it gets more than 6 in. to a ft
 
definitely go anthems, they are really stable on groomers, nice a flexy for butters, and sick on rails and jumps, real stable everywhere really

i love mine
 
anthems are they way to go buddy. but if you like to butter around then i would say invaders. but got for the anthems
 
anyone know if the afterbang is stiffer than the anthem or is it softer? i know its stiffer than the invader.
im trying to decide between saving up for the afterbang as my park ski next year or just settle for the invader for cheap, i hit about 60% jumps, %40 jibs while im in the park
 
the man speaks the truth but does anyone still know how soft/stiff they are in comparison to the anthems or invaders?
 
little bit softer, but way more poppy and overall a better ski imo. anthems feel heavy and slow after skiing afterbangs
