I'm lookin into gettin some new skis but i don't have a lot of cash. ik line makes some pretty good skis for good prices. there are two skis that stick out to me and idk wich to choose. Anthem or Afterbang? ppl who have skied with these could u please tell me how u feel about them?

i ski 177 afterbangs and they r really nice... people think that they are really lite but they arent i hav light bindings too. they are really nice skiis though... they are amazing on rails but jumps over a 40 seems to get sketchy. but they are really poppy if u want them to be... and groomers are decent but its a park specific ski so u cant expect them to b good on groomers

Dont get Anthems, Afterbangs ski amazing but they break (mostly delam, which doesn't cost you money cause of warranty but it is a hassle.)

Get Atomic Punx. Lighter, Similar Flex, More Durable.

Park skis, assuming that they aren't absolutely noodles, tend to be fantastic groomer skis as they typically have deep side cut....what are you talking about?

ANTHEMSSSSS

Such a sick ski, i absolutely love them. I got the octolands at the beginning of the season, skied about 60 days on them, and theyre still in pretty good shape.

Theyre perfectly symmetrical, very buttery, 93 underfoot i believe making them a solid all-around ski if you don't just stay in the park all day. But if you are a park rat, definitely get anthems

i love my anthems!

try and get a pair before they all sell out and you wont be able to get them anymore. such a good park ski and fun to just shred the whole mountain. definately give it a go!

The line anthems would be my choice since they are wider underfoot which means that they are a little smoother for landing off of jumps but the afterbangs are really nice too a little more for rails and jibbing but both skies would be a good choice for the park It all depends on what you want, for the skiing you do.

Anthems. for sure. lighter, better construction, more durable, and slightly more awesome graphics.

AFTERBANG!!!

I bought the ski to myself in october and I think that its a really good ski. Its best on rails but I think its really great on all jumps to.

I have heard that people say that its unstable on jumps that you need to jump over 15 meters but I don't agree with them at all, and that you could jump on much bigger jumps than that with the ski before its get unstable.

Same I haven't skied the afterbangs, they look promising but I've heard some bad things about them. I've skied the anthems many times and can tell you that they are great!

after skiing both to be honest there are better options out there...i broke my anthems about 20 days of riding..which sucks...kind of slow bases....but sick on rails sick for butters...

I'd go with the Anthems for sure, they'll last longer than the Afterbangs, and with the re release of them next year, what's not to lose?

^^^^ Anthems for sure, super soft, playful and fun, and theyre built to last longer than the Afterbangs too. Plus, with the re release of them next year, what's not to lose?

If you can get the newest stepup, go for it, they dont have that full wood laminate construction (still wood topsheet but they have a macroblock core) they are lighter faster base, and a stronger pop-ier ski. That being said, I have anthems and they are freaking awesome super buttery, forgiving and decently resilient bases. edges are pretty mushy though. cant go wrong with either.

ridden both and the anthems are lighter and more fun imo plus because of the construction anthems seem stronger because when the afterbangs get waterlogged they loose a lot of their strength. its a little bit of luck though my anthems have taken a lot of abuse and they seem to be fine however i have seen anthems that have broken with less abuse. This probably happens because they are made and china and some are just built better then others.
