I bought some octoland athems and my brother has fks 155s before i ask him if i can have them i ame curious if shops usually bend fks brakes? also can fks brakes be bent to ep pros size? should i put the fks on my eps? and out of curiocity how do shop techs bend brakes? + karma for help

well it depends on what your other binding is going to be. i would personally put the fks on the anthem and then get sth16s for the ep pros. im not sure how shops bend brakes though.

depends on the shop, you should use the metal pipe method though, it works by far the best

here's a brief tutorial

yeah my shop at home would do it but i just got out to college and the shops dont know me so they wouldnt bend my brakes.

i use that metal pipe method for bending any brakes at my shop. it's a bit awkward to do with the fks since you need to mount them with the brake depressed, it's kinda tough to get to the screws, but it's not that big of a deal. for your situation, i'd for sure put the fks on your anthems. bending the fks brake around the ep pro will leave you with a super short mini brake because the ski is so wide. check out the new sth 14 or even the sth 12 from salomon for your ep pros. jesters are always a great choice as well.

another little tip, especially when using this technique on a sidewall ski, is to put a screwdriver parallel with the edge in between the the brake and topsheet so that the brake bends on the screwdriver rather than your sidewall. this helps to not dimple the topsheet when using the pole technique.
