maybe ar6's 171 with saloman 912's those should work good in new york. if i had the $ i would prolly get those.

hahaha no not 171. maybe 181 with px12s. that would be a sick setup for east coast park. super fun in and out of the park.

yeah the ar6 or t-halls with px 12s would be sick, trouble makers with px 12s would also be a good choice but some people might find them a little slim at only 78 in the waist

176 thalls, i just got thme for this season with px12 jib ti's im hoping it will work out good for me considering all i ski is park

yea but no one is saying why yet. What I'd really benefit from is something like "Well the t-halls are a lot poppier than the chronics, but you lose the dampness at speed" rather than things like "Karma's with looks" or just saying setups that people would buy for themselves if they had the option. I appreciate the willingness to help on everyone's part, it's just that it's harder to judge what's better when all I'm getting is the decision, not the reason why. IF you couldn't tell I'm anal about comparison, and I just want to get the choices down so I can save time demoing to get the pair I'm best on

Not to hijack, but whats with long parks skis now? I'm a hair shy of 5' 10" and 160 and I thought my 167's were big on me, but people are telling a 6' 0" , 150lbs, guy to get 181's?

I'm just confused...cuz i was looking at 161's for this year...

its all preference, but if you are even a decent skier you have to find 167 to be squirely at speeds, also because its a twin you are gunna wanna be longer than a normal ski because u lose running length, im 6 ish and 170 ride 181 park, wish thhey were 185, and 191 all mt

tanner hall's pro model ski made by armada. they used to have factory detuned edges, now they are as sharp as a knife. they are a park ski...

as for the peroson who made this thread, i have some salomon 1080's and they rule for park and are pretty good all mountain ski, im sure the foils are not much different if not better. and i have the k2 fujative, they are good for park, easy to butter with and pretty good over all.

sounds like alot of armada, but if you screw up your skis do they take care of you or are they built well enough to get hammered?

yes, tough skis. Very durrable, and if there are any delams etc..armada replaces them free of charge, and quick too. I think evan got his t-halls replaced in under 3 weeks..

I'm 6'1'' 155lbs and I'm on a 181, 182, and possibly a 189. My beater-shit urbans are 175 belangers.

6'0 is easily 175/176. No problem. Don't go any lower.

cool, I was kinda hoping the armadas would be as good as I wanted them to be beacause I hate all these white skis everyone's coming out with. Can't see which damn way I'm pointed if I hit a bump or something, and now my dad can call my skis ugly... he rides classics

now between the pc, thall, and ar6? I'm leaning towards the pc's because they have the rase base and my buddies like to go fast when not in the park, but any reason to go with the other guys?

Somewhere around a 176.Im about ur size and Im riding 171s this year.I can easily go up to a 181 ski but I still have some shit to learn and I feel it will be easier to get use to those tricks on a smaller ski then a bigger one.Once im able to get the tricks down ill end up moving to anything above a 176.

ar6's are a lil stiffer and fatter, they are both really fun skis to ski on but if your doing allll park then tm's might be better cuz they are softer and overall smaller

cool. so, ar6 is it then. My EC all mountian/little hill and park ski for the next 2 seasons at least. I figure I'll go 176. If there's anything else speak now or forever hold your penis
