ok before you read anything save your time, i know im a loser but i live on the east coast in md so i cant ski so i did this here

Left Trigger - tweak grab/railslide

Right Trigger - tweak grab/railslide

Left or Right trigger - switch riding stance

White - Change Track

Black - Change Camera angle

Back - get off your skis

Up + B - Nosepress/noseslide

Down + B - Tailpress/tailslide

Left + B - left foot 50-50

Right + B - right foot 50-50

B - Railslide

Top Diaganols - Front/Back slide (Diagnol Left for Front Diagnol Right for back)

Spins/flips are decided by how you push the analog stick, similar to amped.

There could be a couple modes...

A Carrer - this is where you start out as a normal kid skiing at the local mountain. You progress throughout it by doing challenges.

Types of challenges

Photo/movie shoot where you have to go through rings and get a certain amount of points to pass. After Completing one of these you could edit the angle, zoom, and other variables of your movie/photo for a movie or ad. For every ad or video segmant you make money.

Next you could have sponsor challenges where you do types of tricks or complete objectives that the sponsor likes. There should be a thing to where you chose which sponsors you wanna compete for too. Sponsors can also give you money.

Competitions, if you do good on other things you will be invited to competitions where you will be judged on style, grinds, spins, grabs, and other things. If you place well enough you can gain more attention and gain money.

Also you could have high score runs

Also you could have Pro runs where i pro would either tell you tricks to do as you go down a run or would have you follow his line

B. Freerun - this is where you can explore the mountain and just relax without time. Also you can push the back button to get off of your skis and hike up the mountain. Also if you raise enough money from comps, vids/pics, or sponsors you can purchase a snowmobile to take you to the top quicker.

C. Create-a-skier - This is where you can create a skier. Chose everything from goggles to boots. You must create a skier for a carrer mode. You are given a starting cash amount at the beggining. You can spend it on good equipment or save it to go to better mountains. Also once you become pro you can design your own ski.

D. BackCountry Mode - in this mode you can choose hieght, size, width, location and various other aspects of a jump and place it on several spots of your choice.

E. Session - take a timed run down a slope of your choice.

you have to be able to go switch and then also be able to do some urban east coast shit.. then also be able to make jumps...and twist on boxes...i would definetly be hook on that game for mad replay value

I bet that it would be better received as a multi platform game, so what about PS2 and gamecube? Where is their control scheme? I bet EA or I guess whoever made amped would do best for this game as I have said a million times before, but I am lazy and I dont care if I make money from the freakin game.

if the game was like amped but with a skier it would be sick. and each skier should have sig. tricks. so tanner would have like steezy 3's and the phils could have the phil grab. and other people could have other shit. it woul dbe sick.

yeah how about a lot more skiers, like pollard, sage, treadway, and more bc stuff. try to put in as many skiers as possible, and make sure that there are a lot of different skis, mountains, sponsors, tricks, etc.

If your going to make ideas for a ski game give control ideas for the PC. I was thinking of making a ski mod for a game like Unreal tournament. )the karma system could do wonders) but I wasnt able to get someone good enough at programming to do it.

I could only make, animate, and texture the models.

 
In other words: Exactly the same controls as Amped. But with skiers..

you should get to buy the skis you want and all the equipment you want and then that would be the shizz. send it to a video game company and try to get it made. we already got the signatures and stuff. great idea (even if you did copy amped 2)
