i'm a freshman in college now and plan on transfering out hopefully my junior year, has anyone had any experience with transferring from out of state ?

i'll probably end up with around 3.0 at the end of this year and can see myself getting any lower next year .

i've searched bar'ed it and nothing really answered my questions ..
http://collegeprowler.com/university-of-utah/

is that site accurate on out of state tuition ? i tried their website but couldn't quite find it

what are the weekends like ? bars (i'll be 21) ? hesh frats ? house parties ?

any advice is appreciated

There are deff threads about that college man. Yo it'd be worth it fuck you to finish this year strong and the first semester of next year even stronger, you won't regret it.

I transfered at the beginning of this year. Are you on quarters or semesters now? I transfered from quarters, and that kind of sucked. Lots of things didn't line up. I had to do a bunch of extra leg work and individually have the head of each subject department decide what the class(es) I completed counted for at the U. If you're on semesters now, it should be much easier. Also, if the school you are at now is an ABET accredited school, they like that and will transfer stuff much easier.

pretty accurate tuition

there is plenty to do here, parties, bars, frats here are gay so dont even waist your time.

the skiing makes it all worth it

i think my credit situation should be alright since it's a state school (i think), i'm on regular 2 semesters too.

haha shit ya it's suppose to say can't, i was studying for finals for like the past 6 hours pre making this thread

the only bad thing about U of U is the 6 cup beer pong. Ive only played BP in SLC 4 times, and those may be the exception, but it was really gay

i just transferred out here from out of state. that site is about what i payed. but one big advantage is that you can get in state tuition after one year. As far as fraternities, dont take advice from people who dont know what they are talking about. yes, most of them are full of doushe bags, but there are a couple that are really cool and full of skiers and snowboarders.

where? not on campus, unless you mean asains. not many around campus either, unless you mean west valley

Haha yeah I was just joking around. Not on campus or in the heart of downtown, but they seem to be everywhere else. I live a little bit to the west, but not very much (9th west). I just notice it because I came here from the Northwest, which has a hell of a lot of Asians. Here, there aren't very many Asians, but a lot of Mexicans. Also, 90% of the stuff I've sold on KSL has been to Mexicans. I hope I don't sounds racist, just making observations.

Terrible just terrible, im sorry you played beer pong with retards 6 cup is such a pathetic excuse for "beer pong". A lot of the frats here tend to play it for "faster games" when in reality they just suck dick at it

wait you crazy west coast kids DON'T play six cup pong ? here in PA if you more than six people look at you ..
