and its been a while since a TV show thread was active. So I'm a big tv show kinda guy, and i like having one thats already 2/3 seasons out to watch 3 or 4 at a time plus the ones that i watch every week. With BB gone ;( and GoT still a while away, I only have the walking dead, revolution (kinda predictable, but idk why, i just like it a lot), hell on wheels (kinda bored of it tho) and sometimes big bang theory (not a huge fan)

So any good tv shows that i haven't heard of? I've seen

-Lost (starts pretty lame but gets good)

-Jericho (no ending but awesome)

-community (season 1 and 2 r gd, don't bother with the rest),

-howimet (not a big fan either),

-dexter (awesome)

-the west wing (for you interested in politics/economics/ or just a "clever tv show, awesome)

and im probs forgeting a few more. What are you guys watching that i don't?

 
The very end of season 3 wasn't great and all of season 4 was bad but that's because Harmon was booted as the showrunner but he's back for season 5
 
fuck that. it's fucking terrible that guy plays a terrible sherlock

if you want a sherlock style show watch the first couple season of House they were great

Sons of Anarchy is great and you could feasibly catch up and watch the final season (next season)

Other FX shows are great too...

Orange is the new black is a pretty good show. It's only on Netflix and only one season is up. Second season is being made right now. Hemlock grove is a really good show, as well it's only on Netflix. The show I'm watching right now is pretty good, it's called "The 4400"
 
Sons of Anarchy is fan fucking tastic.

Burn Notice is a great show.

Suits is decent.

NCIS is OK, but I still watch it.

The Shield is rad.

The Wire is definitely worth it.

Entourage was good.

House of Cards on Netflix was meh.

OZ is decent. (Old HBO series).

The Sopranos is a must if you haven't seen it.

Generation Kill was good (HBO Series)

Band of Brothers was good (HBO)

True Blood if you want to see Rogue from X-men naked. Great show to watch with a chick. (don't judge me)

 
I heard Super Fun Night was good and totally fits your with your taste...

Just kidding, that show sounds terrible.
 
Seen all of Breaking Bad like 4 times.. I am currently watching Lost (Season 5) I am a Walking Dead viewer, I have watched the first 2 seasons of Hell On Wheels, Falling Skies is shitty, I have no intentions of watching Revolution, and I don't find The Office Funny. Is Mad Men worth watching? I am considering watching Mad Men, Dexter, any others?
 
I liked Tremé on HBO a lot. David Simon created it, same guy that created The Wire. As mentioned, The Sopranos is a must watch if you haven't already. Boardwalk Empire is dopeee this season. Sorry if you don't have HBO, steal a friends HBO GO log in info like i do.
 
thx for all the answers, nope won't watch downton abbey! Dexter is a must to anyone who hasn't seen it, and yh finished the sopranos, one of the greatest shows out there (kinda similar to bb in a way). I'll check out some of those mentioned, shield seems good.
 
ahh didn't even know there was an BBC version - I was talking about the shitty American one thats onfox or somethin....

OP you will definitely enjoy the shield
 
Yeah watch the BBC version with Benedict Cumberbatch. It really tackles the fact the when you're a genius in some areas other areas suffer. He's amazing in it.

I really don't even count it as a TV show because it's unfair to other shows. Each episode is basicallly a movie
