Another ski season...wasted.

Is there anyone else who feels like they should've done more with their ski season, like learned more stuff or pushed yourself harder?

I wish that I would've done that cause now it feels way to late in the season to catch up...

yes that is what i have been thinking lately. This season we have made no bc jumps, our park blows also, and the our best cliff run has barly been open this year. buuuuuut the year is not over yet.

True dat, the years not over.

But I also blame it on the parks, because without a good one how are you able to push yourself safely right?

well our park sucks balls but i got to ski lots of nice powder and i won a slopestyle and got a free pair of pipe cleaners so its alright. i still have another 4-5 months of skiing in montana

We got a solid 2 months left here and i have a solid 50 days this year too. I'm pretty happy so far.

Yeah I guess I could've pushed myself a lot harder, but I'd rather just work on the steeze for the tricks I actually know. Plus, this year is a record snow year at the PNW, so still got plenty of time to get better!

Tahoe is already predicting late may for closing at a lot of the resorts...

which means.. i'm basically moving there for a month or 2 once the semester ends...

I wish I could have pushed myself harder and gotten more days in but I made a stupid move with my vehicles so I never had a ride out. I hope I can rap up the season good though.

well this is my first real season where i actually hit jumps and stuff...so i'm pretty happy to have leared 3's,sw 3's grabs, rails, and how to ski pipe. but next season i hope to improve a lot more.

not gonna get as many days in this year as i did last season. but so far this season has been going good, stepped up my rail game and steeps/chutes now its time for some progression on jumps.

i usually progress most at the end of the season and have been having a pretty good season so far of i'm happy - spring skiing is the best to throw down new tricks

Hey, at least you've been skiing. I destroyed my knee on Christmas, so I basically started my season this week at about 40%. Going out skiing and not learning anything is infinitely better than having to re-learn how to ski groomers.

i feel like i have wasted the time up until now, but i still have a good amount of time left so hopefully i wont feel the same at the end of the season

after injuring fracturing some vertebrate in my back i am still yet to hit a jump over 20 feet this year. oh well theres always next season

I wish i had more than 21 days at this point, and i really wanted to be working more in the park but ever since theres been good snow iv just been all about the back bowls and powder in the west as its my first season out here, but i definitely dont consider that a waist of my time. Hopefully i'll get more work in the park come spring time.

yeah... i went to tahoe for college thinkin i was gonna get so good at park and havent. i have no good excuses either except for whiskey and hangovers.

same here this season alone i broke a pinky finger in november and my 2 thumbs broke at the same time and i had to get surgery so it sucked. i got pretty good on rails too tho

Well, I am really dissapointed because I only have 5 days this year because of my jackass dad and I know I could be learning wayyyyyyyy more if ski more often. Once Spring conditions hit and stay consistent it's gonna be so much better for learning stuff and hopefully I get to go to summer camp.

in the past i've almost always learned new tricks and got better in the last month or so of the season, that's just how it's always worked out... with that said, my knees are now tweaked and my desire to learn new tricks has sort of faded. i'm perfectly content with keeping spins at 7 and under and just learning new grabs and making everything look sick. sort of a new mentality i have with riding park in general, i've always been big on style but i used to get caught up in trying to learn a bunch of new tricks. i'm pretty pumped though, march and early april are going to be the busiest part of my season, can't wait to get into it.

i feel like i've learned more now that i ski less. I used to ski 6 days a week. now at college i ski like 2/3 maybe 4. I feel like I have to make everyday worth it now
