Another Recommendation Thread: Nomad 95 vs Fat-ypus L toro

Hey looking for a new park ski after ripping on my blends for a few seasons. I'm in-between Nomad 95s and L toros. I cant seem to find much info about fat-ypus online so I figure I would reach out here and see what the general consensus is. For reference, I ski mostly east coast and I have a pair of Nomad 105s I use for all mountain so these would mainly be for park and some regular skiing/jibbing. Thanks!
 
like the homie said both are really well made. haven't skied the l-toros but the nomads are pretty soft and fun. didn't get to jump on them but i imagine if you stomp your landings the flex shouldn't be a huge problem.

the l-toros are like 6mm wider on paper, but the nomads definitely measure a little wider than 95. more like 98 or 99 imo
 
I highly recommend going with Fat-ypus. I've been riding a few of their skis for the past couple of seasons and am in love. I personally ride the L-toro and will say it feels lighter and more nimble than a 101mm ski. That said if you're looking for a pure park ski I would recommend checking out the D'root (92mm) as you might have a bit of overlap between the L-toro and your Nomad 105s. The D'root is essentially just a skinnier L-toro. Fat-ypus also has pretty unreal end-of-season deals where you can pick up most of their skis for 40-60% off if you're able to wait.
 
L-toro’s were my favorite all around ski on the east coast. Haven’t skied nomads, but I skied the L-toros on all but super deep days when I worked at Jay Peak for a few years. Super fun, light and flexible and held up really well too.
 
Go fatypus. You can check out Adam delormes old stuff. He used to ride the l-toro. Sick ski, pretty soft but if you size up it'll handle bigger stuff. I personally ride the d-root and that is an underrated ski on the market, especially for east coast skiing. I've had them almost 8 years and they're still kicking. I have a pair of l-toros as well and they're a wicked fun ski for all mountain but can be a bit much to push around on icy east coast days. The d-root is honestly the better all mountain charger as it's a bit stiffer and skinnier, so it's a bit more versatile. Go fatypus all day though.
