Another reason WAR is awesome

My friend brought WAR in the instructors loundge to watch. Some of my snowboard komrades came in and watched it with us. After 5 minutes my snowboard friend said that he wanted to go skiing, He has never skied before, and all of a sudden he says it. Then at the end 2 boarders wanted to ski and they all agreed that skiers were more technical and had better tricks.

I think WAR was created by the twin-tip skiing industry to bring snowboarders to skiing.
 
the best part is what happens when you watch it for about an hour after it ends...BONUS.

WAR is an awesome movie. anybody else love john symms' second hit (switch 7 shifty)? that would have to be my favorite hit in the whole movie, i have no idea why.
 
i made my boarder friend watch tbc and he said those exact words! soon there will be no more boarders in the park
 
WAR what is it good for? getting those fucking borders to ski! yeah WAR huh? thats what its goood for.
 
ski tricks look totally sicker than boarding ones! boarders can just fall backwards and forwards. plus we look cooler. but boards can rip sic lines in pow-thats it tho
 
is that wayy after the credits, because i know there's a segment after/during the credits then it goes black, it there anything after that?
 
another reason is the very end...i jus watched it for the 1st time ( the very end ) its so sweet..it even has dumonts(sp) crash on it
 
that's true about war, snowbaorders see and are blown away, ESPECIALLY with that june hip. my boarder friends see that and then say that they've never seen a boarder go that high up
 
I'm not hating on snowboarders its just that they said that and I thought it was funny.
 
Clearly the best part is when that crazy lady comes to them in the parking lot after the credits and starts bitching at them for fucking up the sidewalks and shit...I laugh at her every time.

i disagree...i think that skiing has better air tricks now and stuff but on rails and mainly urban snowboarders still dominate...rihgt now skiers are just starting to 270 and do switch onto urban and snowboarders have been doin that for longer. skiing needs to open up to new grinds to surpass snowboarding. snowboarders are doin presses, crooked, and alot more on urban and skiing should be doin the same...i think give it 2 more years and skiing will be at the same level as boarding on urban
