I rode s810s for years and have s912s any they're fine. I'm 6'0 180lbs, assuming because you had yours on a DIN of 6 you must be, what? 120lbs?

So, that said, my bindings take a lot more abuse on a regular basis, about as much as yours would take if you wore a 60lb backpack all the time. That said, mine are holding up perfectly fine, they're used too, I guess Salomon isn't bad after all eh? Yep, I guess not.

i havent personally done any resarch but my friend who knows a lot about this kinda stuff tells me that the titanium broke because when they make it they mix it with some sand so they cant make more product with the same amount of titanium, not salomn but non soviet countries in general do this with titanium

sand? WTF. i don't know much about composite metal makeups, but i'd be willing to ask some an aquantence who works in the metal industry in a lab. he would probably know. my guess is that you are correct in that it is not pure, but sand doesn't even make sense to me.

the guy that talked about you skiing with a 60lbs pack reminded me: i should mention that i am 6'3" and 170 or so. i also ride with a heavy pack most days (full of water, gear, and cameras) and i tend to utterly abuse my skis. its no surprise my crap breaks from time to time.

again, just send them in and you are golden.

I have a great idea, how about instead of complaining about it, you send them into warranty. A new pair will arrive on your steps in no time. I did the same thing, it happens. You can find someone on here that has broken any single product you want to talk about. It just happens sometimes. When it happens with regularity, then a product sucks.

Good luck.
