i find it amazing that you can 'go up to your room' and have a baby, by yourself, without any medical attention. that's crazy.

since when can women be in labour/pain, pop the baby out, snip the cord, and clean up the mess all by themselves, discretely...

theres some people in the town next to mine who put there babies in a bucket and filled it with cement and put it in the back of their garage... pretty nasty.
 
k i just have a simple question. is adoption like tough or something? im jw cuz i dont get why people just dont put their kid up for adoption or somthing.
 
Yeah she had the baby by herself then was perfectly fine to make dinner? bullshit, she would have called for help.
 
My history teacher told me that she went to high school with this girl who got pregnant, and bear with me here because i dont really beleive it entirely, and her parents didnt find out. apparently her boyfriend was over one day and she went into labor and gave birth, her mom was yellin that dinner was ready so she decided to put the baby in the closet and sort things out when they finished. they came back and the baby was dead. the best part is somehow she didnt get charged with anything, and everyone at school called her the baby killer. i really dont beleive it but my teacher swears by it and says the girl even has a myspace and shit but wont tell me her name or anythin.
 
That's even more retarded, if she went into labor I'm sure her mom would hear her unless they live in a 20 room mansion.
 
ooohhh, i dunno, maybe someone who has the slightest bit of personal responsibility and has some sort of respect for their OWN CHILD.

i mean i can see if you're in an incredibly hard situation (you got raped, you can't even afford to support yourself, etc.), than i can see putting it up for adoption. but killing it? give me a break - they deserve to go to prison for a very very very long time.

I was actually just talking about bad parenting with some friends on a long bus ride to a ski "hill". yeah 400' in the midwest!! But anyway.. I don't know how it came up but we all thought you should have to get like a "reproducing" license kind of like a drivers license or marriage license ya know. And if you have a kid and you don't have one, you could go to jail and face heavy fines. That way all the fuck ups in life can't keep making fuck ups and ruin society and stuff.

Say all you want about how dumb and how it won't work, it was just a funny idea we had.
 
i cant imagine doing something like that to a baby at that point, after its been born. if that was the route she was going to take she should have just had an abortion in the first tri-mester.

that said, i know all of your have your own opinions and everyone is entitled to them (even if you are male, like most of you) but if i was in that situation at 15, or now at 18 i can honestly say i would have an abortion. it would be a terrible life for myself and the baby. and for those of you who say just put it up for adoption, thats a lot of time during pregnacy where i loose out on things like going straight to college or my highschool graduation. but it would be a completly different situation in 3 years.
 
I love when people say "give it up for adoption" without even thinking. The process of adoption is not as simple as having the baby and dropping it off at an orphanage. Orphanages cost money to run you know. Back when I was in highschool, a girl got pregnant and had a child. She had to wait a year and a half before it could be taken into adoption. She's just finally finishing up her highschool degree now at age 21.

 
Dude i think i knew this girl in the thread. She lived down the street from me, and if its the same girl she was only 15 when she had the kid. It was just after summer break from school the worst part of her belly would have been hidden from school. She went to my jr.high school and i did notice she had kind of a gut on her, i didnt think anyhting of it. She was chinese or something and involved in one of those gangs in calgary im pretty sure, but her parents weren't home when she gave birth, only her younger brother. He heard her moaning from her room, and she gave birth in there all by herself and then dumped the baby in a garbage can down the street. The person walking their dog found it.

I could give her name, but that story was two and half years old, and shes probably back in juvy or something by now anyway.

She's just an idiot for not telling people she was pregnant in the first place. I'm sure her parents would give her less grief for that than what actually happened...
 
she may have intended on keeping the baby, but post-pardon depression fucked her over.

not like i know a thing about post-pardon, but maybe it's a possibility?
