whats with skiers trying so hard. laurent looking like a fool wearing his jersey like that. tanner is always uncomfortable on camera so he just acts all g'ed out and thinks its cool. skiers look like fools and its embarrassing. they are trying way too hard to make a statement. skiings about having fun. there is nothing gangsta about it, so they should reflect a fun image. maybe smile, be happy, laugh, joke around with people. no more of this claiming, and attitude. we need more people displaying a positive image so people will be attracted to our sport rather then laughing at it.

now let the drama begin...
 
Shradical, you are doing exactly what the opposite of what you are saying they should do. Having their own style is having fun. Maybe fun to you is acting like you a 7 year old at Disneyland, but perhaps isn't the same for them. Please keep your "rants" to yourself in the future

I think it looked like laurent was having a lot of fun. Like when he said g-unit mo-fucka! That was just funny and I'd say he's having a lot of fun when he can crack a joke like that just as he's dropping in for his third and final run at the largest comp he's ever been in.
 
whats wrong with him wearing his jersey different? he was the only one doing it and i didnt really get a bad vibe from the caveman steeze. he seemed happier with his silver than tanner was with gold. i though that was funny.
 
yeah i'd def have to agree with that, it so funny to watch stupid ppl try to be gangster on skis, it just straight up makes me happy
 
I hate people like you (creator) who think that skiers are embaressing, or whatever. Well fuck you, if you don't like it, dont sport it, get made fun of, go cry and make another gay ass thread about how you hate your life.
 
Me too, but I'm a trend-setting one. Pretty soon everybody will hop on my band wagon and wear medium pants while jumping cliffs(all with their hands above their knees!). It might take a while to catch on, though.
 
I agree with you on some points...like the laughing, smiling, having a fun... thats what its all about... but everyone has something to create their own peronal style... i have it, you have it, god even your mom has her own personal style... And the whole G'ed out might be a way to hype themselves up before taking a run... I know personally when i go through a park run i listen to music that gets me pumped... i even start singing... but i agree with you on most of your points...
 
i say let them do what they want. Whatever they want to do should be fine by me. i used to hate on tanner's whole image but i've learned to accept it.
 
Rewatch the whole X-Games comp. You can not sit there and tell me that the skiers are not having a good time. They are smiling, laughing and just overall pumped to be skiing.

Professionalism isn't needed. It is "Free"skiing. Which means they are free to act and be who they want to be. If they wanna be gangster, so be it. Everyone was having a good time at that comp. And they all skiied very well. That is all that matters.

stop bitching.let people do what they want fuck. whatever makes them happy is what they are generally going to do. you dont need tocritisize others because you dont have fun doing what they are doing.
