Another "Pick my car" thread...

Yea so basically I'm going to choose between a 4Runner/Tacoma, Wrangler, Forester, or A4, assuming my car is totaled. It all depends on how much I can spend and what I can find.
 
dont get a wrangler, you'll be constantly working on it. 4runner will use the most gas. A4 is hit or miss with reliability, sometimes they go and go and when they break they're more money to fix. tacoma or forester are your best bet for reliability/gas. you'll pay probably 10k for a tacoma with 90-100k and probably 6k for a forester with 90-100k.
 
Bumping this for an update. My car was totaled. Damage was $5k+ only including the stuff the shop could see from the outside. Probably would have been more. The insurance company is giving us 6k for it. Instead of buying a used car my mom is going to get a 2012 Impreza and I'm going to get my mom's 09 4Runner. Beyond stoked.
 
Brah, have you ever heard of Subarus? They're like wicked sick titz and they make you a 3.14x better skiier... Like why would you like not like to get one?

Jk. You'll like the 4runner. Is it a stick? My friend has one and they're hella fun to drive! Even though the gas mileage is worse than the A4, the insurance on the A4 is going to compensate for that anyways. Plus it will be in good condition since mom's never do anything fun with their cars.
 
Nah it's an auto. Still fun as hell to drive because you can just pop that shit into 2WD and turn traction control off whenever you want to get loose. And yea it's in perfect condition. I've taken it off road a few times and its awesome. Better gas mileage than my Volvo too.
