Again with this. I think the guys comments on the article are right, they knew how to deal with pirates when they first started causing a problem back however many years ago. do the same thing, blow them outta the water. and how could they lose the ship? i'm sure they can see it on satellites.

anyone know the captain of this one? hopefully hey get this back, how could they run off with such a huge ship. although i'm sure they're trying get ransom money. they're gonna get sniped again.

looks like instead of paying ransom money we should be pay for militarized convoys to defending ships that are worth their weight in gold...

ya why pay for an army if ur gunna pussy out and give into ransom as well

you gotta choose one or the other

If people hadn't been dumping their nuclear shit off of Somalia in the first place we wouldn't have this issue

two questions from someone quite ignorant on oil shipping..

1) how can they not know where the ship currently is? do they not have tracking onboard that is impervious to tampering with?

2) why do we send one of our most precious resources through lanes without protection where small boats can take it over?

right? if theyre in unprotected waters, why not blow the shit out of boats that approach when they know full well that they shouldnt?

just by calling them pirates it makes it so much more awesome

like if we just called them hijackers no one would care
