Just got mine . Its honestly not over hyped. People say its justy gonna break down but I have a warranty and my favorite company is mac so hate on it all you want. I dont understand why people camped out for it I went the next day and bought it with a 2 minute line outside and honestly. This thing is the shit.

Currently Im posting from it soooooo.. you know how it is . I( feel like a trendy asian ^_^
 
Honestly I understand how people can hate on it due to jealosuy and cus theyre haters but if you really can get this phone I suggest it. Its like carrying my computer with skype in my pocket.
 
sick. i'll probably end up gettin one when my contract is up for renewal in a year and a half and by then verizon should have the 2nd gen one
 
Maybe its the fact that im a Mac Person through and through but theyve done a real impressive job on this thing.

It must be cool to use the internet while walking around or at the bus stop or whereever, but I'm not a fan of cell phones... and I like my 7 megapixel camera -_-;
 
lol tried to flame here and failed no cell phone has a 7 megapixel camera n00b shes refering to her camera and megapixels do in fact make a difference especially if u want to shoot large clear quality photos
 
it would obviously have a better resoultion and be a better picture,

most point and shoot cameras have shitty glass, so you are in fact wrong, its in no way comparable to a DSLR, and ya when your dropping 300-1000$ on a lens, but on all those consumer cameras lens are rather standard, the Iphones camera is not bad, and if it were 7mp, would be just as good as any 7mp point and shoot on the market

Anyways, like 3 of my friends got them on the 29th, and it is currently the screensaver on my slvr. They are fucking sweet to play with, google earth/maps is tight. the youtube is lacking a bit, it seems to be a watered-down version. The keyboard actually works fairly well, practice will make perfect. There is no video. The touch command is pretty right on, and itunes rocks, the screen is awsome.
 
yo....can you explain what you get with your plan and how expensive it is? I'm thinking about getting one, but i want to hear the costs directly from an customer.
 
i believe at&t has like a 2 year exclusive contract, which means that iphone will only be offered on at&t for a while.

and is there a flash plugin?
 
i want one just cause it would be so awesome but i think they are soooo gay at the same time, i just think its messed up how EVERYONE has a cell phone and always in contact with someone, then if they arent talking on the phone they are listening to music or texting. people just need to go without all that crap, including me. i went a week without using my cell phone and it felt amazing!!!
 
i don't think the price will go down for at least 6 months. or at least until someone makes a counterpart to the iphone or they come out with a 2nd gen
 
is the phone unlocked? and search the "htc touch", people say its apples only competition.
 
nomensteve is way into this iphone thing. he has like 5 posts on this thread. just create a thread about it. i think once your a post whore you dont contribute much to any thread anymore.
