Another indoor snowplex coming to the USA

Even if it attracts them it gives us another place, would be so dope to practice year round, and will promote the building of more, I think one in Pittsburgh would do great.

One in Pitt would crush for sure. Century 3 has been abandoned for how long now? Seems like it could be the perfect location for one.

Years. Last I saw was a few months ago some medical co. was looking to buy it , too bad that place would be dope. There’s a few malls in pitt that could support it and are basically dead and about to go under.

That’s like 80% of all malls now. I remember how cool that shit used to be. Used to do all my back to school shopping at century 3.

NOVA is the perfect place to attract super rich dentists that drop 10k on gear to ski indoor all season.

dps need to release an indoor ski for the indoor skiing dentists

They’ve already got vail. DPS makes some dope skis

Also I think any dentist types that visit these places are gonna dip out pretty quick, they’re not interested in park scenes, and if they are cool, or maybe just be there to support their kids, which is cool, they’ll also provide the income that is needed to support “our” wants and needs so I’m cool with all of it, I just wanna see more year round centers, training facilities, air bags etc. I wanna be able to train all year to do what I love better, have more injury free fun and ski in the summer w/o flying to Germany or whatever, so into it in fact, I’m gonna look and see how involved I can become in the development of one in Pittsburgh, for instance if I could acquire a building, I’d donate it, totally worth it.

Closest indoor park to me is 10+ hours…. Nope too far and it’s in a place I can’t stand to visit

That’s what I’m saying. I think they are desired everywhere but is it a self sustaining business? If it were mine, I would put a ski shop/boot fitter there as well as hopefully have enough store front retail to help sustain since a snowplex isn’t likely to bring in the necessary income, or maybe it is idk but if I were to get involved there would have to be more resources, charging for parking etc is out if I’m in , so retail is a good start, resteraunts etc to bring in income via realty and taxes, I’d like to keep it a mountain sports, accessories, clothing vibe, I think that type of “hub” or outlet would do well but it would be stepping into a new world for me and my partners are basically solely interested in storefront and rentals so it’s a pipe dream, not a big enough dream of mine to go in %100 and wreck myself, but if I could raise say 75%….hopefully others do it, it seems to possibly be turning into a “thing”.

I wish one of these would open in New England/near Boston

There has to be some municipal/state incentives to build one for the increased trafiic to surrounding businesses and the positive public health effects of people being active.

Certainly. There is a place by my home that gave 10years no tax to new businesses and still are, it blew up but it’s filled with Mylan, Bayer, 4 and 5 star resteraunts/hotels and a lotta modern eating etc…there is a hockey rink but it had always been there, it would be perfect

I would literally cream my pants.

On that note could you imagine how nuts one would be if it was in the Twin Cities?
