20 minutes ago a 8.2 earythquake happened off the coast of indonesia, tsunami's are predicted.

this is gut wrenching to think about.

There's an argument going on between 2 scientific groups, one say that the earthquake is 8.2, the other day it was 8.5. Anyway thats horrible, hopefull no tsunai's will be generated by this affect.

yea, no tsunami predicted.

I was on a very small island about 500 miles away from the epicenter 5 days ago. No radio, nothin. I'd be dead if there was a tsunami. Fuckin shit.

its to be expected there will be more throughout the year each one smaller than the one before. thats why they are keeping an eye on it.

this isnt big news it was expected since the first one.

 
ring of fire, i wouldnt be too surprised. indonesia has a ton of volcanoes, and so does the region around it, so these earthquakes seem like they would happen

are you retarded...ring of fire runs from the south west coast of south america, up though central and north america, across alaska over to japan, down through the east side of indonisia (sp) and through new zealand......

india's techtonics are cause by the india plate crahsing into the euroasian plate (hence the himilayian mountian range), nothing to do with the ring of fire.

They had a tsunami warning for Western Australia (although it was later taken down) and apparently were getting some heavy swells
