Another horrible gang rape

Anyone else see this? An American girl, traveling with her boyfriend over in Brazil, got gang raped by a bunch of dudes in a van in Rio de Janiero. The boyfriend got the shit kicked out of him and was forced to watch for 6 hours while these fucks did that to his girlfriend.

Anyone else feel as if the world is becoming more and more fucked up lately? Headlines are getting more and more ridiculous nowadays with scum doing horrible shit in both our countries and others. It also has led me to start thinking about more serious deterrents against crime and what can be done to put a cap on this bullshit. I sincerely believe that if you are involved in a gang rape, you should have your dick cut off, hung in the town square, and bleed out over the course of hours/days. Thoughts on this fucked up crime or how fucked our world is in general? Definitely been bothering me lately.
 
Also, Brazil has had over 5,000 rapes reported in the past 6 months. And those are just the one's that were reported. Absurd.

I agree with more sever punishments. I mean you messed that girl up for the rest of her life, why shouldn't you be messed up too?
 
theres alot of fucked up things that happen all over the world. the only thing that I CANNOT TOLERATE AT ALL is rape. It is the one thing that makes me so disgusted i want to throw up when I hear about it. If anyone did that to anyone I knew I no doubt about would break every fucking bone in that persons body regardless of what the consequences may be. The emotional scarring that can do to someone....makes me sick just writing this fuckin post
 
I completely agree. I was just thinking that if that were my in that situation, and that were my girlfriend, I wouldn't think twice about killing every one of them and then letting my rottweiler feast on their remains. And I'm not even joking.
 
I think you're a little confused, the world has always been horribly violent with outragous acts like you mentioned happening everyday, the difference is now we have the media infrastructure to bring it to your attention.

 
what the media decides to tell you is under their own control and discretion. things like this have been going on for centuries.
 
I completely understand that this has been going on for quite some time and that there has always been an all too steady flow of heinous crimes occurring all over the world. All I'm saying is that I think, regardless of the media's role in it, that crime has been getting progressively worse and more common.
 
I would have to disagree with that. I bet they were saying the same thing when the whole dahmer thing came out, and every other time people have done fucked up shit. The bottom line is that some people don't deserve the lives they have been so lucky to be given, and honestly need to be exterminated.
 
And I'm telling you you are wrong, it's actually trending the other way as nations like Brazil and India develop their criminal justice infrastructure. But sure, let the media make you think the world is going down the shitter. I promise there is no ulterior motive.
 
Bed things happen all the time. With the news and the internet these days you just here about more.

Everybody loves a good tragedy, something to pretend they care about. That's why the news bring you nothing but people getting murdered, houses burning down, and all kinds of fun stuff. It's peoples favorite tv show.

As far as the laws, you can't legislate away bad things from happening. It just doesn't work. To an extent cracking down on things would but having a world where doing any wrong is punishable by getting eaten alive by ants or whatever weird shit some places do isn't the kind of world I want to live in.

It's all relative anyway. Some people can get all worked up about a gang rape in another country where nobody died, but jerk their wieners to the thought of something like nuking japan.

Do people really care or is it just a cause for their shallow personalities to believe in.

that's not even that bad compared to the United States.

90,000 reported rapes in US in 2008. that's 0.0004/person. over the entire country.

5,000 for a city of 15,000,000 is 0.0004/person. same as US. but this is the second largest city in the country. average out the entire country and it'll be a lot less.

 
Take into account the amount of people who come forward to report rape though, the percentage is most likely much higher in the US.
 
that's complete speculation. you'd have to find me data suggesting more people come forward about rape in US than Brazil for me to even consider it. I doubt that data exists.
 
One word GUNS if people have them they can protect them selfs but if the government takes all the guns criminals will still have theirs.

The world is not getting progressively worse. All that has changed is that practically everyone has access to sharing their experiences online. As a result, you hear about tragedies a lot more often.

 
The data reads if you go to Brazil and you are a hot female you will be raped if you leave the rich areas.

For real though the world is fucked up place and has always been that way , only thing new is the web it is making the world and what happens in it smaller so we are hearing more about these bad things. Which I hope some day will lead to a change in the way people view things and they will fight to make these bad things from happening. But from the way it is going right now a lot of governments do not like how much "freedom" that the web allows and they are trying to block news from going out and coming in.
 
Another thing I thought I'd say is that the news is usually a lot of gloom and doom. Although it is right to feel remorse at hearing the tragedies of others, it always going to happen, and as a result, you shouldn't live any differently, fear anything, or feel personally responsible for another persons misfortune or actions unless you're involved.

All that is in your control is yourself. By working on yourself and improving your character, you add one little positivity to the world. Other than that, you really cannot control the actions of others.
 
Putting everything online and in the news is the main reason we have so many fucked up tragedies. People do it for fucked up fame, and they get tons of shitty ideas from other villains of the earth. i say we shut down all forms of news and live Amish, with no news boys of course.
