Yes another one
Im planning on getting a helmet hero tomorrow. How many helmet mounts does it come with. i want to be able to switch it on and off to my friends helmets throughout the day. Also does it come with the handle bar/ pole mount? I just dont want to spend all the money on it and end up just filming my friends all day

theres2 adhesive curved mounts, 2 adhesive flat mounts, among others....

And no there isn't a pole mount. Its separate.
 
GoPro doesn't even offer the pole mount. You will need to check out eyeofmine.com to pick up a pole mount, he makes cool accessories
 
I am using it obviously for skiing. I am in no means making superunknown entry videos with it. Just messing around with it at the mountain with my friends. I obviously know the quality of the helmet hero is better.
Mount wise can you still mount the 960 to a helmet with the mounts that it comes with?

Im just having a hard time justifying spending the extra money for the helmet hero. Just looking for a few other opinions
 
physically they are the same, you can mount them the same way and everything. the difference is the quality. the 960 can't do 720 60p, so if you aren't doing hd, the go for the 960, but if you want to be able to do 1080p or slow mo 720, get the helmet hero. If this helps, here is a go pro hd (the nicer one) for $220 (or possibly less) or $135 for the 960
