Another full tilt thread: active/rigid bootboards

Apologies if repost. I did search.Shouldn't be too long a thread.

I'm just wondering how much of a difference you can notice in FTs between the active bootboard (most of their boots) and the rigid bootboard (classics, first chair). They say it's to help absorb landings. Does it?

I have both boot boards and the shock absorbing one does help a little bit in the event you over shoot or knuckle on a pretty decent sized jump. If you don't plan to hit any big jumps most of it is just in your head.
 
research for the future. Can't justify it this season unfortunately. Current boots are still in ok condition and I'm not exactly mr rich!
