Another first edit with T2i

This is the first edit i've made with my new T2i.

Seems like everyone is posting their first edits so I figured I would too. Luckily I was able to get some skiing in for my edit instead of normal summer shit.

Any critiques or comments? Shot with Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8

Damn, that 17-50 looks good. That line looked mad fun too.

Only complaint really is that your tripod shots were mostly static (meaning not moving) get some pans and tilts in there.

Yeah I have a shit tripod doesn't pan well....got a new one coming in soon. Also thats the Tamron with the VC and I saw in another thread you said the non VC was much better.... just wondering why?

I think the non-vc is only sharper because the VC moves, and if you don't wait for it to settle then you'll have a very slight blur. So it probably looks the same on video.

It looked like the motion tracking at the start was done in your editing program. I'd recommend either keeping it static or using After Effects to track the motion so that it looks more natural.

well done man! really good nice edit. only suggestion would be to watch your exposure. some shots seemed a wee bit over exposed. well done though. im really looking at buying a tamron now
