well ive been skiing for quite awhile on volks ect. for all mt but im lookin in to the park more now. im stuck but leaning heavily towards the chronics but a new deal on the walls has arose. Im 5'4 113 expert all mt, little experience in park, probably will go 65% all mt or 60% all mt and 35/40 % park ...(east coast) also looking for a more fun ski but not enough to the point where theres no carving ability. durability is a plus.

so far chronic seems to fit me but i can get the walls fully mounted for half the retail price( low/mid 300's? ). i can get the 09' chronics for about 480 fully mounted

 
go wiht the volkls if you want a good deal. chronics are sweet though. just dropped mine off to get mounted. sick ski, nice stiffness, got the best snap of any ski i have felt
 
Man thats a tuff one, I heard awesome things about both skis so I don't think you will go wrong with either one. Since the deal is so good on walls though I would go with those, they are like 550 for ski alone.
 
well went with the chronics and ill gues ill see if i like line : - ) thanks for the suggestions ^

oh and i bought off porters tahoe if anybody wants to know or not.....
 
i picked up a pair of last years chronics and got them mounted 2 weeks ago. so far they are absolutely amazing but i havnt been able to test them out on much more then some urbans and backyard sessions. where are you mounting yours at?
 
either -2 or at recommended which should be close to that i think... im not gonna be in the park 100% so i am not going to center them
 
^ that's a super versatile mounting point for chrons, i'm sure you'll have tons of fun with them... i know i'm still lovin my pair!
