Another Camera Thread

I recently sold my Sony PD-170, because of coming to university, and needing the extra money.

This winter i need a new camera, and i was Thinking about jumping on the HV30 bandwagon, but i read a few things about the Sony HC9, specifically about it's superior image control.

I would get something like an FX1 or 7 but i just don't have the money right now so i have to settle.

Any other ideas? karma for help.

well seeing as he has his adapter that cost more than double the camera, his image is obviously gonna be amazing.

And he's horner.

Do you know of any footy shot with the hc9?
 
If you're interested in 24p get the HV30. I have an HV20, and it's a really great camera. Coming from a PD-170, you obviously won't have the same manual controls, and it definitely won't come close in low light ability, but overall, the HV30 kicks ass. There's a reason why everyone is talking about and buying this camera.
