just bought this kids 2011 Atomic Punx for $350. https://www.newschoolers.com/ns/forums/readthread/thread_id/659285/

seemed like a legit seller all the way through. i'm not naive, i'm thorough and intelligent. he has great feedback. there are now recent feedback postings that are negative (HoneyBadger).

i have all the emails and transaction information

he said the skis were 9/10, slightly used, rode 3 times casually. just cosmetic damage

the bases are CRACKED. not dented or anything, cracked. 6 inches along the edge. one of the edges is popping out. copious amounts of topsheet damage.

kid asked me to mark the paypal transaction as a gift. i thought about weirdness of this, but his feedback is so good i didn't doubt him. i thought maybe it was for tax purposes or confidentiality.

he gave me a fake number when he gave me his info. says he's 17, lives in Washington. hd gave me a "friends number" during the emails. turns out it's the same number that is on the return address.

please help me. this is ridiculous. paypal is no help. two parents that are successful lawyers are unsure of what to do. i need to find this kid!!

honestly i really did. not to talk myself up but, i'm an intelligent kid and an experienced online shopper. even with used stuff. read all the forums about B/S/T on NS. took all the right steps...

This kid is pissin everyone off lately; I think he needs a good banning from all things Newschoolers related. If ya know wut i mean.

this is true. it was the kiss of death. but i didn't read paypals user agreement section 13.3 before hand, so i was unaware. the legitimacy of everything else seemed to outweigh the suspicious gift

people on ns still ask me why i always buy as a gift even when they have a good feedback... you got the answer, we never know when someone really need money.

english isn't your forte?

anyway,

HELP ME!!!

this is actually the worst, NS. straight up out 350, no skis, home mountain opening this weekend

this!

and sorry bro, i wish i could help. checked out that link and shit looks legit as he does, but obviously he fucked you...i'm a business major and i don't know anything about law...sorry again man! hope this works itself out.

NS themselves wont do anything, its not their problem really.

OP, you need to find someone that lives near him or someone who knows him and get all of his contact info. get in touch with his parents and explain everything of how their son was a huge douche and fucked you out of your $350.

you didnt call the number first to make sure it was the right number?

but seriously, i would talk to a mod, so they can ask Bishop what you need to tell the police so that they can figure out where he lives through his IP address.

The whole sending it as a gift thing over paypal is usually to avoid the paypal fees. If you send it as a certain type of thing you either get less fees or pay no fees.

newschoolers takes no responsibility for b/s/t, so i dont know how much they can help.

i never send as a gift when i buy on ns, to many 12 year old scammers, however gifting money isnt super suspicious, when buying stuff from more reputable people it makes more since,

im saying that the police may be able to execute a search warrant on the dude's IP address. Probly have to talk to Bishop to see how the whole Canada/USA thing would work.

thats super shitty dude. find his personal info, and post it on 4chan or something. to get it you should pm someone who had a fine transaction with him.
