Another booster strap thread…

Hey, I know there are plenty of booster strap installation videos out there, but I was just wondering if anyone has similar boots to me.

My boots are Nordica sport machine 120 and they have Adjustable Cuff Profile (ACP). Since the power strap is riveted on with the ACP adjusters, I will have drill them out.

I am just wondering if I do drill them out is it possible to save the ACP mechanism or is it for the bin?

By the look of it, if I do remove it and I don’t reinstall it, the back of the boot may not be supported well.

What are your thoughts

The ACP is essentially just a way to adjust the upper cuff to accommodate for a larger calf. If you don’t use it, just take a dremel to the rivets and replace with fresh hardware when you’re ready to install the new booster straps.
