Anonymous To Destroy Facebook on November 5th

hence why I said a couple months, not forever. I'm actually 100% for progression. I just wish people would utilize it differently and not replace person to person interaction with text only.
 
Be grateful that people are doing that. It only gives those who still have great interpersonal skills a leg-up in competition.
 
kinda on the same topic. i was waiting i line at voodoo doughnuts and there was a sign from anonymous on a lamp post right next to the line.. and across the street were two people with cameras filming and taking pics.. so i was kinda drunk..and had my buddy save my spot. and i ran across to ask hey.. what the fuck are you dooing. they grabbed their stuff and booked it hard.

so i dont know... there is prob some vid of me. flipping off a camera and yelling at them.. and shit.

but to the op.. meh they cannot change the color of the leaves... they have little power in my life.

I wish Anonymous was a group of badasses who actually work and successfully bring corporations down. But i feel the truth is that their just a bunch of fat nerds who try to make a scene. After all, they are derived from 4chan arent they?
 
Really? Anonymous isn't an organization, there isn't any sort of central leadership or discussion. If there is any organization of people to be scared about its Congress. Amen.

Anonymous is literally the most retarded fucking thing ever. People with nothing better to do with their time than hack websites en masse. They're the biggest retards ever. If i ever met someone in anonymous I'd hit em with a lead pipe.
 
i wouldn't mind this for a month or so but i would be pretty pissed if the completely took it down. I don't use Facebook a lot, but its just an easy convent way to keep in touch with friends. Im not saying i never talk to them outside of Facebook, but if i want to just have a quick useless convo with someone id rather use Facebook then texting.

Facebook has 750 million members. That's 3/4ths of a billion. There are on average, 375 million people logging onto facebook every day. Facebook isn't going to be taken down by a DDoS, because they literally can not provide enough bandwidth to incapacitate the site. There's not way. Even if a 10 thousand people were running LOIC, and aiming it at facebook, they would be generating about the same amount of traffic as a few million people. The difference between 375 million, and 380 million, isn't even noticeable to facebook. They have the capacity for each of their users to be online at the same time, you could double the amount of people who go on everyday, and still not have facebook go offline.

Now, I understand people like Jester don't just use LOIC and are actual hackers, they use different sorts of tools. But even then, facebook is the 3rd largest user of bandwidth in the world, and has incredible amounts of protection. Facebook itself releases information like no other, it leaks constantly. But, the actual servers are so protected it would be incredibly difficult to take them down for even a day.

Please, stop talking about shit you have no idea about. Anonymous is a group of script kiddies who don't do anything. There are a few people, like Jester and GeoHot, who actually know how to do things and get them done.

It wont let me log in right now but when I tried on my phone it didn't work with wifi but it worked with 3g. Im so confused
