Okay, They were saying we were going to have an iceage 20 years ago. They had graphs showing it, tv adds on it, posters in school, teachers talking about. They said they were certain it was gonna happen. And it was the same thing globle warming may be true, but not at the way are thinking. Maybe if we dont change in 250,000 years, but by then were either gonna have amny planets to live on in the far out univers, or alll die from some other problem.
 
thats a great attitude to have. There are also many other reasons besides global warming to stop destroying the earth.

yes i think an ice age would be good

the planet wont instantly cool down, it will slowly degree by degree cool down. if an ice age started now the earth would probly only be 5 degrees or so cooler on average. that means a shitload of snow and by the time it gets super cold it will be like 400 years from now

 
and in 400 years the planet will be fucked also an ice age would come with more then just cold temps and lots of snow. There would be huge storms that would wipe shit out. Obviously more snow and it being colder would be awesome for skiers but realistically their would be a lot more drastic affects that would suck. That being said we are not gonna have an ice age in 400 years
 
Im not saying that it would be good, that was a joke, the point im trying to make is that this same thing has happend and everybody got all worried so maybe we need to just calm down with this warming stuff.
 
we have to start worrying about it now because it is a long arduous process to try and clean up the earth and stop destroying the environment. Even if global warming is all fake trying to clean up the planet is not a bad thing
 
seriously though. the important part to remember is that NOW, we do know that we are affecting this planet, and if we don't change our ways now then we will have very serious problems in the near future... no matter what the climate may be at the time.

I give us less than 200 years before the human population is halved in a generation. A presence such as ours simply amazing, and we've managed turn the incredable gift of being born human at the pinicle of our "advancement", and managed not simply to squander it, but destroy 3 billion years of evolution. Here everything is fine and dandy; for you and me, but visit the poorest 90% of the human population and any ideas you have that human advancement will take us hundreds, yet alone millions of years into the future, will quickly vanish. The world doesn't the you model it in your ill-informed head, but rather it works the way it works, which is clearly apparent all around you, which isn't to say it does, life simply goes on.

Disregard all the above, I'm too tired to give a shit, I just wanted to rant.
 
"Global warming” isn’t it just a play from the government to keep is some kind of state of fear? There are trends of warming and cooling. And we are currently in a trend of warming. So should we do nothing about this, of course not. What is happening is that we are aiding an already naturally occurring process. And as far the whole ice age in 20 years, we are currently in an ice age, because the Antarctic and Greenland ice sheets are still in existence.
