im so disappointed in my new anon gogs. came in today and they dont look "gold chrome" at all

and the two only look chrome because the light was shingin perfectly, and the flash was on low.. might return for mirrors
 
sounds like you should have done a little research before you bought it...thats how its supposed to look. Believe it or not, even though a super mirrored lense may look cool to you its really only good for blue sky days, the gold chrome lense is a really good lense for all weather.
 
ya they look sick. i have te same goggles as well as some realms with the solex mirror. theyre both sick. you cant buy any goggles with the solex mirror anyways, you have to buy it as an extra lens.
 
just like glass, it will only reflect light back to the side where there is more light. so when they are on your face, they will be reflective...they aren't in that one pic because there is a lot of light behind them.
 
so are you saying that the these wont really be mirrored?

I have the rastas and even in the right light you can still see my eyes. Is it really THAT important to not see your eyes?? those goggles are sick.
 
anons mirrored is different than others. Oakleys irridiums are real mirrors where u cant see the eyes no matter what.
 
My anons are like that...its a sensor mirrored lens. When the light is bright outside, nobody can see my eyes.
 
dude take them out in bright sunlight, they'll probably be what you were looking for. That's good cuz then they dont totally suck on darker days.
 
to the people in here that have solex's are they fully mirrored, and what color is the mirror? i saw some at a shop that were like yellow, red, orange, green and blue, is that the solex or something else?

When they are over your eyes and no light is going from the inside to the outside they will appear to be mirrored. People won't be able to see your eyes if that's what you thought they were supposed to do.
