Annual Snowfall--

Fuck summer school

I have a capstone in my stat's class and need to do a project. I am going to do Snow fall for two area's and I need 25 years of snowfall for each resort. I think I am going to do wolf creek vs. Steamboat.. or vail and beaver creek.. Actually I don't even care what resort.

Where can I find information on Annual snowfall for past 25 years?

Thanks ns....karma awaits

alta and squaw valley both have season snowfall totals on their sites. both are complete with a day-to-day breakdown of storm totals. it would be interesting to see how each resort compared during big tahoe years and big wasatch years.

bestsnow.net was a cool site, but hard to read. I have found some info on websites but hard to find 25 years of info for two sites. My teacher said I could do one year and 50 different resorts or 2 resorts over past 25 years. Stat's blows

None of those site's had info for twenty five years- Can anyone get >twenty five years of annual snowfall for any (2) resorts? This would help a TON and karma awaits.... Thanks NS

I'm pretty sure mammoth's website has some good info on their past annual snowfall.
Also, maybe check like weather.com and search some city names they might have a catogory of annual snowfall somewhere on there.

^found nothing on mammoth site, who would think it would be hard to find average snowfall for just 25 years.. fuckk

Yeah Weather underground can provide data on actual precip, and snowbase at NOAA weather stations. I dunno what the avalanche advisories sites are in UT or CO but in WA we have NWAC which has a ton of stats on snow fall and snow base for different ranges.
