yo, so my roommate is ALWAYS shaking his leg.. this may not sound bad but he does it so fast and hard that it shakes anything his body is connected to (chair, table etc.) its so fucking annoying and whenever i tell him to stop hes like "i didnt even realize i was doing it) Im claiming bullshit on that becasue how do you not know!!!! In class today he was shaking an entire table (like a big ass table) i wanted to take my pen and stab his leg with it.

Anyway, does anybody else no anyone like that/does anyone know why my roommate would always be shaking his leg in excess all the time?

i do this all the time. occasionally in class people will ask me to stop, even had one person gesture a stabbing motion toward my leg with their pen, which i didnt see but my friend sitting next to me did. i never notice when im doing it until someone points it out. hes not bullshitting, i really cant explain why it happens. usually while im working or in class, never if im doing anything that i enjoy.

When I was a little kid I would shake my leg like that at the movie theater without realizing, It would piss off everyone in the row. Chances are he probably doesn't notice it.

Both me and my roommate do this, and I see kids doing it all the time.

Also, when I bring my right leg and set it on the left, my foot wants to shake in the air.

I don't notice it usually, but I can see how it can be annoying.

With me I am constantly flipping around my fingers and shit. Like, if there are any baseball pitchers on NS I constantly do that thing where they flick their hand to keep it loose and warm/the movement dippers use to pack all the chewing tobacco into one side of the can.

hah i am doing it right now

dont think its that obvious as far as shaking tables and chairs and desks, i dont hit it up against anything.

its a sub symtom of ADD or adult ADD, its a concentration thing. People who have that shake or tap there leg when doing stuff simple such as watching t.v and talking to a person. If you notice it, ask him nicely to stop eventually he will realize he is doing it. People who have that twitch tend not to notice until they are told that it is happening.

Yup. I have ADD and more often than not I shake my leg when I'm really concentrating on something. It's a subconscious way of getting pent up energy out. And to the OP, I'm sure you have little quirks that other people find annoying as well, it's just the way things are...

yo i'm real happy for you and i'mma let you finish, but michael j. fox had the best leg shaking of all time!

(jk. i love michael j. fox. but i was at a loss for other things that shake.)

researches have determined that shaking your leg or tapping the ground with your foot repedetely are signs of chronic masturbation. no joke.

Couldn't that also be chronic sex too? Cause, with masturbation and sex the end result is generally the same.

I am taking neurontin for RLS due to opiate withdrawl from surgeries, it really fucking sucks trying to sleep when your legs want to jump out of your skin.

this and when youre getting a haircut and it acts up its a bitch to have to stay still that always got me when i was younger

this made me burst out laughing

and Im always shaking my legs around. the wifey hates it. in fact im doing it right now. dammit
