I am trying to cope with summer boredom as so are most of you. Today I noticed I have a small cult of woodchucks destroying my yard, I ended up getting 5 of the damn things in an hour. Any other archers out there??

unfortunately i can't see your picture. but last week i shot 2 raccoons with one arrow, it was pretty fucking badass.
 
sick shit. my sister's bf is sponsered by Bear and competes in target shooting at like the world's and he wins like the nationals n stuff. his bow is so super sick. ya shooting gofers is super fun though, i hate the little buggers
 
Thats sweet. My old bow was a Bear, but now I'm a team shooter for Rytera, that's their new Bullet-X for anyone who's wondering.
 
Wow thats pretty sick not gonna lie. I have shotguns and rifles but have always thought a bow would be sweet. I might just pick one up sometime soon. What does something like that cost?
 
A good compound would be around $300 or more. But you can easily find some used ones on ebay or at a local gun store. He's got a pretty high end comp bow. I found my Darton Terminator on ebay for like $250 bucks. But archery is defineatly a fun sport to get into. Its the only real way to hunt.

My equipment totals to something like this:

Bow: Free - team shooter. Normally ($1100 msrp)

Rest: $90

Scope: $100

6x Scope Lense: $100

Sight Bar: $300

Custom Stabilizer Set: $120

Custom Strings/Cables: $70

Release: $100

Arrows: $100 per dozen

Obviously you can get into it much MUCH cheaper. Its just like skiing, if your going to do it, do it right the first time.
