Ann Coulter and Tucker Carlson: Ignorance at its best!

she's either damn smart, or she managed to convince you she was by her stupid psychobabble.

like i said, to be discussed here, with honestly a bunch of people who have been to college and are actually intellectually able, you either have to have provocative views that are backed by something, or be a moron we all hate.

ann coulter is not smart. she may seem smart. but to be part of the mainstrem in media, you do not have to be smart. far from it. i mean, did you even watch what she was ssying? did you see how she was acting? straight out of high school, at best.

i dont need a video, i saw her in person. i have seen her many times on tv anyways. ill watch it later, but i dont have time at the moment, thanks for posting it, looks interesting.

there is a problem with her though (which I find to be common of many smart people). she does not necessarily connect her ideas in a normal fashion. she makes obscure references from time to time that dont necessarily make sense. its the thing where really smart people are kinda weird cuz they are just on a different level than the rest of us.

it does not take a very smart person to support extreme right win views, in the video she says while we are in iraq we should convert them to christianity . she is not smart at all

again: she's either really smart and so above us all... or stupid, and her train of thought gets lost between stations.

Anyone can convince you that they are knowledgeable in a public forum if they just present information properly. If you speak confidently and have numbers, names and dates then you can convince anyone on any subject. A subject such as the inner workings of politics is not a widely known or undertstood thing. She could be straight feeding you bullshit (which she usually is) and forcing it upon people in a very strong way.

I am in a presentation class in college right now. I walked into a Oral presentation with having no..I mean NO knowledge on the subject (mainly because I knew that I could do it anyway I wanted). I walked up there, had confidence in the bullshit I was about to give, had bullshit numbers names and dates. And you know what mark I got?....An A!...And in the comments part of my marking sheet my instructor wrote "Had excellent understanding and facts on the subject. Obviously prepared thoroughly." All because I SEEMED to know what I was talking about. Now does that make me smart, or just knowing how people will react?

People with loud voices, wild ideas and a stage to present on have power. The power to mind fuck people in so many ways. This is how our world works and most people ahve no idea about it all.

Holy Christ, she's retarded.

And no, I don't see any real possibility of her being very smart and above all of us. On the Couric interview (total ownage) she states that it is "basic christian doctrine" that God has stopped protecting us because we stopped asking for His help. So she agrees with Falwell, who blames gays, feminists, lesbians, "pagans", abortionnists and the like for 9/11. Oh yes, very smart.

Yes, if you're Christian I respect the faith you have in the Bible. But if that is what basic doctrine you pull out of it, end your life, please.

when i saw her in person it was her responses to questions, pointedly devious questions that convinced me how smart she was- not her prepared speech. anyone can sound smart doing that.

as for the katie couric thing, i dont see how she got owned. they both debated other specific events using semantics to their own good. anyone watching that video should be able to tell that you cant judge who was right about which instance.

anyways im tired of debating with you guys. i dont agree with her, but i think she is smart per my personal experience talking to her.
