Ankle socks

i always used to, and i loved it. then i started working at a bootfitting place and they made me convert to ski socks.
 
i did once when i forgot my soccer socks and it was the worst experience ever. I felt like my shin hair was getting plucked one by one.
 
dude I agree with your first statment, but how do socks bunch up at your shins? how freakin loose are your boots??

and soccer socks aren't too good the fabric generally isn't as comfy and definately not as warm as some nice smartwools or any kind of actual ski sock. worthwhile investment.
 
i ski in regular ankle socks. My ski socks had some massive holes in them and i haven't gotten new ones.
 
i did once and it hurt like a bitch cuz it like pinched my leg hair haha. now i wear ones that go up to my knee almost, jea antoine walker style
 
I dare everyone here who skis in ankle socks to wear them in there boot somewhere else other then new jersey. NEVER wear cotton any where on your body when you ski.
 
I'm rocking synthetic socks that go past my ankles but not up my shins. My shin-length soccer socks always used to bunch up.
 
i would never ski in ankle socks cuz my bare skin would rub against my boot contantly and the inside of my boot is probably cold to
 
i do on warm days because they are cooler. i do sometimes too because it feels nice sometimes. i think my leg hair hurts more when i use ski socks. it makes the toe and footbed of my boot feel different
 
Ankle socks? never have.

I'm usually barefoot in my boots, or in ski socks if the day is really cold.

 
i ski in whatever i have on. usually it's ankle socks, sometimes no socks. i find tho the best days are when i have two different socks
 
i do somtimes and now i have patches of missing hair on the inside of my leg were the boot rubs. It wont grow back cuz i ski every day and just keep ripping it out.
 
Ripping out leg hair??? The liner is doing that- what's the deal?

I've never had that problem (and yes, I do have some leg hair), and I'm almost never wearing socks, either.

 
knee high ski socks, always. they're basically the only socks i wear in the winter, i cant stand wearing anything else.
 
i ski in really thin ski socks........ thick makes my shins hurt for sone reason, but only on my right foot.... WEIRD!!!!!!!!
