i got some salomon spk kreations perfect size but recently i have been getting major ankle pain and now cannot ride because of it. Would getting some better footbeds help? and if so i heard superfeet=good?
sometimes footbeds can solve ankle pains because they provide support for the foot and keep everything in its proper anatomical position (bone structure wise). If you are experiencing pain, slipping in a pair of footbeds and seeing if they fix it is a simple and easy suggestion.
Footbeds will definitely help. If your arches are allowed to collapse, your ankle will turn in and subsequently hit the inside of the boot- most likely the cause of your problem. Superfeet are a good start, but I would try something that offers better support and alignment, like an Aline footbed. I've seen them correct a lot of issues and align people better than "custom" molded footbeds. Everyone has their favorite, just find out what works best for you.
