Ankle Bone/tendon(?) Pain.

My ski area in Michigan opened November 28th, by December 1st I had pain so bad right on the ball of my outer left ankle bone, that i could not even ski anymore. I skied for 4 days, totaling around 15 hours on the hill, and my ankle decided that it was time to stop skiing.

I haven't had my foot in a boot since saturday (it got warm and the hill closed) and i just tried the boots on tonight to see if anything had changed, at first it was fine, but any pressure from the boot makes my ankle feel like it has a needle sticking into it. These boots had no problems last season, and were buckled the exact same this year as last year. My feet have not grown and the liners are in very good condition. Now, it seems like this season may be an incredibly painful one.

My question for you, newschoolers, is, how common is this type of a pressure point, is there anything i can do to speed the recovery of my body, and what is the best way to alter the fit of my boot to compensate for my bony ankle, and is there any way to change my riding style/ boot buckling that will help to mitigate the pain. i was really hoping to have a good pain free season from the knees down, and now it looks like that may not happen.

Hory shit I had this a couple of days last season. I just had to go in the lodge and caress my poor anklets for awhile and it went away eventually. obv check with a doctor if it keeps happening
