Anger

Music (especially Reggae, you can be mad listening to that_) and also i go work out. hanging with friends and laughing is good too
 
skiing. takes my mind off just about anything.

being around my friends take my mind off it too.
 
depends. if its like something that gets me really mad, and no ones around, i yell curses super loud and punch my wall (although that can hurt, dont break your hand) or a couch - this is usually when im mad at someone in my family. otherwise, i just try to ignore it, listen to some music, talk to people about it or about other stuff, what ever.
 
music, watching a movie (esp ski movies, i dont do it much anymore but i used to watch them whenever i was pissed and the anger just disappeared), being with people/doing stuff is the best way... i know it sounds gay (and may not be appropriate in your case right now) but put things in perspective
 
yeah music is a great one.

some reggae will jsut mellow you out and take your mind off things , but if you want to embrace your anger listen to something a little harder. try like hardcore rock or something like that
 
the worst thing you can possibly do is to sit around and let it (or the "its) fester. do not sit and watch a movie. do not "hang out".

the best thing to do is get the biggest set of headphones you have, throw on a sleeveless shirt, go to the gym, and throw around weights like it's nobodies business. run 2 miles for a warm up, do a quick ab circuit, and then lift weights until you can't raise your arms above your shoulder line. seriously.
 
i play call of duty and just hold the trigger down and get super pist off and it releases my angerdon't hang out with friends, whenever i do they know i'm in a bad mood so they purposefully piss me off and i end up punching one of them, that helps too
 
i like to get outside and just relax and realize what i truly appreciate. it helps me forget about whatever im angry about
 
exactly... dont just let it set around and build up....

my preferred form of burning off steam is to go hop on my bike and put on about 15-20 miles... put on some music and just go...

what you need to do get is your endorphins (sp?) going....

Skiing, woodworking (I made my mom a cutting board for Christmas, currently working on restoring some furniture andbuilding a shed), marijouna, music, playing guitar, etc
 
i dont really do something since i am not very angry generally and i dont let most things to reach me. but when i sit on my mountainbike, 3000 ft vertical infront of me, i wont think about anything the next hour.

Nope. Your Wrong. They are just as dangerous as plastic cutting boards. People have been using wood cutting boards for centuries. We made wood cutting boards as an asssignment in 7th grade shop class. A public school wouldn't do this unless they were safe.
 
yeah i agree with the endorphins, in the summer i just go on aggressive as hell mtb rides and blow off steam
if that isn't an option just kill the hot dog guys in gta 4 and get in a big ass car and run over everyone and drive insanely fast until you hit something

whenever i do that it helps me realize how much i was overreacting.

exaclty!!! eat a shit-load of chocolate. I don't know exaclty how it works, but it's supposed to increase the amount of natural endorphins in your body. I think dark chocolate works best: something like 75% cacao level. (not cocoa, it's cacao) this always helps me, i have a big bar of intense dark Lindt chocolate in my room.

its my anger chocolate! ha
