Andy Mahre & Pep X-games footy

Man I totally agree with most of you cats, at that level of competition, you can do whatever you want. Besides that, the XGames have always been a place to do different things...that's half the reason why they came out. So to get mad at Pep and Andy for riding how they want is crazy man. That's how they ride now, and they knew they weren't gunna win, so they just showcased how they like to ride and their view of what should be laid down. ESPN are obviously fuckers and denied the public the ability to see it on air. Why? Cause maybe it was a slap in the face, but it shouldn't be cause the XGames should be about riders doing what they want.

If some kid is going to use the XGames to blow up, then his idea of the sport is clouded. It should never be about that. Those 2 guys deserved to be there and props for not selling out and changing how they want to ride for some stupid comp. These guys rule. Comps suck...except the Orage Masters.

Lets get that footy up cause it would be super dope to see something so different.

^word. comps fuckin suck. to me newschool skiin is like an anti comp activity. the whole point of it is just to go out and have the raddest time possible!! huge props to andy and pep for doin it up with original steez. i was to lazy to read the entire thread did they go no poles?
 
Hah been working on it ever since you suggested it last time this was brought up!

We finally after months got a response from ESPN and we're seeing what it would take to get our hands on that shit... hell I want to see it probably worse than you guys.

that was sick it was so down to earth with them just riding and some dude with a follow cam definitly the type of skiing that gets me really stoked on riding
 
i love the last min of the clip, hes so chill with his hands in his pocket, just crusin around doin them rail sliders and switch 3's like its no big deal.
 
Still working on it guys!

I've managed to talk to a few people at ESPN, and there is possibility of us getting our hands on it, but lots of details need to be worked out. Its pretty serious business with a TV channel and their old footage... I mean thats why everyone watches ESPN... hopes of catching this stuff!

We'll see though... NS is as close as anyone will ever get to getting the footage but you're going to have to be patient. Also no promises that it'll work out, but hey we'll see!

 
this better amount to the most amazing footage ever....im sure NS could put its efforts to something more worthwhile.

no, we are trying to get the footage of them at last years x-games that was never released on TV even thought they both made runs on slopstyle...

This is the kind of thing that will take time... ESPN is a pretty badass company, and they hold their footage really close and don't let it go easily.
