I'm usually stoked to watch the skiers kill the boarders in pipe, but.... WOW!! I can't believe Andy didn't win the snowboard pipe at X. What a sweet first hit. His run was one of the best runs I've ever seen in a pipe by boarders or skiers. Props to him for throwing down.

Even though Dumont, Hall, and Olsen had sick runs, I think Andy gets it this year.

Eh... Autti's win was justifiable. Finchey went HUGE, but he wasn't as tech... Autti's run was jaw-dropping to watch.

^I guess skiers aren't the only ones debating amplitude vs style vs tech hey? In skiing the amplitude won, in snowboarding it was the most tech run that won.

regardless of if u hate snowboarding becuase u think its stupid...antti had an amazing run, as did finch. finch had a minor case but other than that was near perfect

The amplitude vs tech thing was much less pronounced in this case... Autti had a better run overall, and he boosted pretty damn high anyways. You don't do back to back 1080s be going small.

I dunno J.D... Antti definitely had a sick run and back to back tens is incredible for sure. Not trying to take anything away from that, but I still liked Fincheys run best. Guess it just goes to show how hard (impossible) it is for judges to make a decision that everyone agrees with, whether it's in skiing, boarding, whatever. Must suck to be a judge, no matter what you do, tons of people will hate you for it.

I wonder how long it'll take to see a skier do a huge ass switch 1080 to 1080 right off the bat in the pipe and follow it up with 2 900's like Annti Auti.
